Editor’s Note: Nicolle Wallace: A Profile in Integrity

Nicolle Wallace, host of Deadline: White House on MSNBC at 4pm EST and a former Republican, stands out as one of the most incisive journalists in broadcast news today. Her sharp analysis has often focused on the Trump Administration, especially President Trump himself. Unsurprisingly, this has made her a target for criticism. As reported by the Daily Beast, President Trump recently lashed out at Wallace, saying, “She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!” and referring to her as “Typhoid Mary Nicole Wallace,” calling her show “Clown news.”

A Statement of Support

At Race Inquiry, we believe in the importance of independent journalism and applaud reporters who demonstrate integrity and courage, such as Nicolle Wallace. The following open letter expresses our appreciation for her work.

Open Letter to Nicolle Wallace

Dear Ms. Wallace,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I want to express my sincere admiration for the integrity, intelligence, and bravery you consistently bring to Deadline: White House. In an era where public conversation is so often dominated by division and misinformation, your commitment to truth and accountability is both refreshing and vital.

Your perspective, shaped by your background in Republican politics, is particularly valuable. More importantly, your unwavering moral clarity and principled reporting distinguish your work. You challenge those in power, elevate thoughtful voices, and provide honest context to complex issues with grace and candor.

Thank you for your dedication and meaningful contributions. Despite challenges, please continue to stand up for truth and democracy.

Ronald J. Sheehy, Editor, Race Inquiry
