President Barack Obama visited the campus of North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro for the first time Tuesday to participate in a forum on the historically black college experience, the mentorship program he founded called My Brother’s Keeper, and what it means to be undefeated in the face of life’s obstacles.
Hosted and moderated by SportsCenter anchor Stan Verrett, An Undefeated Conversation with President Obama: Sports, Race and Achievement aired at 10 p.m. EST.
The discussion was taped in front of a live audience of N.C. A&T students, participants in My Brother’s Keeper and other invited guests. A few audience members had the opportunity to ask questions of the president.
