The late Lee Atwater, a Republican political operative, in 1981 explains how Republicans can win votes of racist without sounding racist themselves. Famously he said, “You start out in 1954 by saying “Nigger, nigger, nigger.” By 1968 you can’t say “nigger” – that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like forced bussing, states’ rights, and all that stuff.”  Today, similarly, DEI, CRT, woke, improper ideology, antisemitism, anti-Christian bias, view-point diversity, color-blind, merit based, and sex-based discrimination are used to distort the truth for political purposes by changing the perspective and creating a-historical fact patterns. As Malcolm reminded us do not be “bamboozled or misled.”
